Class 1:   Gun Dog Assorted Breeds (Retrievers, Labradors, Spaniels, Pointers, Setters, etc)
Class 2:   Terriers Assorted Breeds (Jack Russell, Fox Terrier, Irish Cairn, Airedale, Highland, etc)
Class 3:   Utility Group (Bull Dogs, Poodle, Shih Tzu, Keeshond, Dalmatian,
 Chow etc)
Class 4:   
Hound Group (Fox Hound, Greyhound, Whippet, Otterhound, Irish Wolfhound,

                Basset, Beagle, Dachshund, etc)
Class 5:   Toy Group (Toy Dogs, Cavalier King Charles, Pomeranian, Pugs, Pekingese, Bichon                       Frise, Maltese, etc)
Class 6:   Working Group (Boxer, Great Dane, Mastiff, St. Bernard, German Shepard, etc)
Class 7:   Pastoral Group (Border Collie, Pyrenean Mountain Dog, Briard,Samoyed, Shetland                         
Sheepdog, etc)
Class 8:   Puppy Group (Puppy – Any Variety – 6 – 12 Months Old – Puppies
must be over 6                         months and vaccinated)
                Champion & Reserve Winner Class 1-8           
 
                (Winners may not compete in any other Classes)


                                                                  Novelty Classes
Class 9:     The Dog who looks most like their Owner
Class 10:    The Lady (Or Gent) and the Tramp – the Owner or the Dog can be the Tramp
Class 11:     Dog In Fancy Dress (Dog can be dressed up but entry will not be allowed where the                        dog is strapped in or tied up in any way that may distress the dog – the stewards’                          
decision is final
Class 12:    Dog Handled by Child under 12 Years of Age
Class 13:    My Ideal Pet
Class 14:    Most Talented Dog


                                                                    Qualifiers 

​Qualifier (K): The Gain Dog Food All Ireland Championship sponsored by Gain Foods
Entry fee to the qualifying show €3 and to the final €6
Prize fund: €500 1st: €100, 2nd: €50, 3rd: €30, 4th: €20 (in each Class)
A Trophy will be presented to the overall Champion Dog
Gain Dog Food product will be presented to each finalist
Rules and Conditions:
1. Toy or miniature dog any breed to be handled by a child under 15years
2. Large dog any breed to be handled by a teenager or adult
3. One dog from each class to qualify
4. Dogs in final not eligible to compete in other classes at Clonaslee show
5. These rules should be read in conjunction with the Irish Shows Association rules
Final in Clonaslee Show on Sunday 11th September 2016

Qualifier (L) – The All Ireland Gun Dog Championship sponsored by Tireragh Gun Club, Cecil Whiteside and Beltra Show Society
Entry fee to the qualifying show €3 and to the final €6
Prize fund: €400 Prizes: 1st: €150, 2nd: €100, 3rd: €75, 4th: €50, 5th: €25
Rules and Conditions:
1. Gun Dog any variety - dog/bitch.
2. Dog must be handled by person over 16.
3.  Dogs in final not eligible to compete in other class at Beltra Show
4. These rules should be read in conjunction with the Irish Shows Association rules.
Final Beltra Show on Saturday 3rd September 2015

Qualifier (M) - Eyrecourt Agricultural Show and Irish Shows Association presents the All Ireland Native Breed Championship Dog Show
Entry fee to the qualifying show €3 and to the final €6
Prizes: 1st: €200 and Perpetual Trophy for winner, 2nd: €100, 3rd: €75, 4th: €50, 5th: €25
Rules and Conditions:
1. The competition is confined to Irish native breed any variety- Dog/Bitch which are as follows: (A) Irish glen of Imaal Terrier (B) Irish Red Setter (C) Irish Red and White Setter (D) Irish Soft Coat Wheaten Terrier (E) Irish Terrier (F) Irish Water Spaniel (G) Irish Wolfhound (H) Kerry Beagle (I) Kerry Blue
2. Two dogs from each qualifying show to qualif
3. Entries in this competition may not enter in any other class in the Eyrecourt dog show
4. All dogs must enter ring with rosette
5. These rules should be read in conjunction with the Irish Shows Association rules.
6. Please forward the name of the qualifiers to the dog section organizer of the Eyrecourt agricultural show.
