The Oldcastle Agricultural Show was crowned the winner of the Not for Profit Award at the 2014 Meath Business and Tourism Awards, which were held in the New Grange Hotel, Navan. Sinéad Hubble, Nicola Walsh, Michael Gilsenan and Linda Smith collected the award from Bláthnaid Ní Chofaigh.

The Oldcastle Food Village will be returning packed with even more stands featuring local artisan producers. Chef Adrian will be cooking up a storm with cookery demonstrations throughout the day. The Cavan Chef spent six years working with Neven Maguire and is now a regular contributor on RTE. The 24 year old told oldcastleagrishow.com that he will be keeping things simple on the day "You can expect loads of different things, I normally cook an array of food. I try to keep the food quite simple for your normal housewives / househubands that are at home with kids and they want things that are quite fast and quite easy to do"
10th June 2016:
The launch of the 77th Oldcastle Agricultural Show will take place on June 24th. A mass to remember the deceased members of the committee will take place in St. Brigid's Church, Oldcastle at 7pm followed by refreshments in the Parish Hall. Come along and meet the committee and be the first to find out about the big plans we have for this year's show.
