Local artists including Fr. Ray Kelly, Eddie Quinn, Noel Briody, Denver Blue and many more will be performing on our music stage. Louise Smith's Academy of Dance will return to the showgrounds with a brand new exciting performance.

Fashion Show 

The Oldcastle Agricultural Show is proud to announce that it has been selected to host the Midlands Regional Final of the Irish Shows Association Home Cook Competition 2017, which will take place in the Gilson Park on Sunday July 16th. Six contestants will compete in a live cook off under the watchful eye of RTE and TV3 Chef Adrian Martin.


Chef Adrian will be holding a number of cookery demonstrations throughout the day in the Food Village. The Cavan chef is on a mission to inspire people to cook real food.

Get your picture with the Birds of Prey at this year's Oldcastle Agricultural Show.


Gun Club

There will be plenty to keep the children entertained at this year's show with free bouncy castles, children's races and obstacle course. 


The Stonefield and Newcastle Gun Club will be returning to the Oldcastle Agricultural Show again this year with terrier andlurcher racing. Bring along your dogs and win some great spot prizes. 

We had so much fun with our Fabulous Fashion Show last year that we decided to do it all again this year.
